Arriving to the city

By plane

Jasionka International Airport is about 8 km from the city centre. The airport is connected with Rzeszow city center by public transport (bus 'MPK' company, line 'L'); travel time is about 25 min; the ticket price including the luggage is 8 or €3; tickets can be purchased from a driver. Buses terminate at the Central Railway Station and depart from the same stop. Generally, bus timetable is synchronized with flights' arrivals and departures and in the case of delayed flight, a bus is waiting for passengers. See more detail at

More flights can be booked from Krakow which is only three hours by train from Rzeszow. Other airports are in Warsaw and Katowice.

By train

By car

Important transportation links pass through Rzeszow: the international E-40 highway from Dresden, via Krakow and on to Kiev in Ukraine, and the highway E-371 from Gdansk through Warsaw to Slovakia, Hungary and further on to the more southern parts of Europe.
